Roderich Schmitz, Judicial Council, was born in Freiburg / Breisgau in 1944. He studied law at the Universities of Freiburg and Bonn. In the year 1973, he was admitted to the bar.
 
His main focus as a lawyer lies on the fields of criminal law, liability law, and insurance law.
 
In 1997, Roderich Schmitz, Judicial Council, was appointed as a lawyer specialized in criminal law. He was honoured with the award as one of the best criminal defence lawyers in Germany by the magazine "Focus Deutschland".
