After having concluded very successfully his training as Civil Servant of the Land North Rhine-Westphalia, Gregor Lambertz studied law at Trier University, specializing in labour and employment law.
 
After his First State Exam for Lawyers, which he passed with honours in 1995, he worked as a teacher for civil law for a company offering review courses in Frankfurt/Main. After this time as a junior lawyer, he succeeded in passing also the Second State Exam for Lawyers with honours in 1996.
 
During his work as a lawyer since 1997, he has specialized in his main competences in two fields of law, namely labour and employment law and inheritance law, including all the extra fields belonging to the respective matters.
 
As a lawyer specialized in labour and employment law, Gregor Lambertz consults and appears for companies and employees with regard to the entire field of individual and collective labour and employment law. He consults and appears for companies especially in the case of restructuring and rationalization measures including all the respective matters concerning their employees on the one hand, and on the other hand counsels his clients in the case of mergers. He also often acts as legal counselor and assessor during collective bargainings and arbitration proceedings. Gregor Lambertz has been admitted to the bar for all the Labour Courts and Land Labour Courts of the Federal Republic of Germany, as well as for the Federal Labour Court in Erfurt.
 
Besides, he gives special lessons in labour and employment law at the Regional Court of Trier and teaches in the framework of the Master’s degree programme at the Hochschule Birkenfeld concerning the subject "Personnel restructuring during crisis and insolvency". Furthermore, Gregor Lambertz is on order as an examiner for the Second State Examination in law.
 
As in the nine previous years (2013/14, 2014/15, 2015/16, 2016/17, 2017/18, 2018/19, 2019/20, 2020/21), the US Publisher Best Lawyers and the German magazine Handelsblatt honoured him again this year 2021/2022 with the award as "One of the best lawyers in labor and employment law international".
 
In inheritance law, he mainly deals with asset transfer during a person’s lifetime and with the preparation of last wills – especially testaments -, as well as with forensic proceedings. As a partner of the law firm, he consults our clients together with his colleague Gerrit Strotmann, who has been appointed as a lawyer specialized in tax law as well as in commercial and corporate law, in matters concerning the structuring of corporate successions. Another main focus of Gregor Lambertz' work lies on the execution of testaments and on the consulting and appearing for executors of testaments in complex cases of inheritance law.
 
Gregor Lambertz has been appointed as a lawyer specialized in inheritance law and is a Certified Executor of a Testament (AGT e.V.).
